Comment
Part of a series of 15 coins designed by Christian Lacroix that trace the line of French rulers from King Clovis who united the Frankish tribes to François Mitterand, the longest-serving prime minister of the Republic. The coins were released in both silver and gold at three coins per year over 5 years, culminating in 2015. Although sold individually, Monnaie de Paris also issued a special casket for collectors to unite the complete sets in either silver or gold.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Non-circulating coin 10 Euros (Raymond Poincaré) 2015 from France made of Silver (.900) weighing 22.2 g is that it was minted to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Raymond Poincaré, who was a French statesman and philosopher who served as President of France from 1913 to 1920. The coin's design features a portrait of Poincaré on the obverse, and the reverse depicts a stylized image of the Eiffel Tower, which was built during Poincaré's presidency. The coin's silver content and limited mintage make it a valuable collector's item for numismatists and history enthusiasts.
