The Minna Canth 10 Euro coin was designed by the Finnish artist, Petri Nevala. The coin features a portrait of Minna Canth, a Finnish writer and social activist, on one side, and a scene from her novel, "The Worker's Home", on the other. The coin was minted in 2010 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Canth's birth.
