The Lyon Saint-Exupéry Railway Station coin was designed by French artist Joëlle Barre and features a portrait of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the famous French writer and aviator, on one side, and the Lyon Saint-Exupéry Railway Station on the other. The coin was issued in 2012 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Saint-Exupéry's disappearance during a flight over the Mediterranean Sea.
