The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated once again this year with a ten euro gold coin created by artist Orietta Rossi. The coin depicts Jesus praying, immersed in the waters of the River Jordan, while receiving blessed water on his head. On his right side there is a dove, a Christian symbol of the Holy Spirit; in the river three fish are swimming, always symbols linked to Christ.
