Interesting fact
The Franc à Cheval gold coin is a unique coin minted by the French National Mint, Monnaie de Paris, in 2015. One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a horse's head designed by the artist Joaquin Jimenez, which gives the coin its name "Franc à Cheval" which means "Horse Franc" in French. The coin's design is a tribute to the famous French horse breed, the "Cheval de Normandie" and symbolizes strength, courage, and freedom.
