Comment

In September of 1620, the Mayflower set sail to travel to the New World. Its 102 passengers and 30 crew were in search of a new life. These individuals would later be known as the Pilgrims and would influence the future of America in ways they could have never imagined. The reverse of the coin features the famous square-rigged ship and its obverse a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.

Interesting fact

The Mayflower coin's design features a depiction of the Mayflower ship, which transported the Pilgrims from England to the New World in 1620. The ship is shown sailing through choppy waters, with the sun setting in the background. The coin's obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin's reverse includes the inscription "Mayflower 400th Anniversary" and the dates "1620-2020" to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower's historic voyage.
