Interesting fact
The 10 Cruzeiros coin from Brazil was designed by the artist and sculptor, Gilberto Fraga, who is known for his work on various Brazilian coins and banknotes. The coin features the image of a woman representing the Republic of Brazil, surrounded by the inscription "República dos Estados Unidos do Brasil" (Republic of the United States of Brazil). The coin was minted in 1965 and was in circulation until 1986, when it was replaced by a new coin with a different design. Despite being made of aluminum, which is a relatively lightweight material, the coin still has a distinct weight and feel to it, making it a unique and interesting collector's item.
