The coin's design, by Canadian artist Emanuel Hahn, depicts a stylized fishing schooner, all sails out, sailing in calm waters. On the reverse, the schooner and the water are gold-plated, as is the coin's cord. The reverse also features the words "CANADA", the face value "10 CENTS" and the year "2015".
