Comment
Visually same as 1967 Commemorative Canadian 10 Cent piece. Pattern was produced in nickel and some are known to be in private possession. Circulation issues were minted in Coin silver (800 fine) and half silver (500 fine) as a transition. Nickel is magnetic, while the silver alloys are not.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Pattern 10 Cents - Elizabeth II (Centennial Nickel Trial Strike) 1967 from Canada is that it was minted with a unique double-die obverse, which means that the dies used to strike the coin were misaligned, resulting in a doubled image of the queen's portrait. This error adds a unique touch to the coin's design and makes it stand out among other coins.
