Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which was designed specifically for the Eastern Caribbean States. This fourth portrait of the Queen was introduced in 2002 and was used on coins and banknotes in several countries, including Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The portrait was created by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley and features the Queen wearing a crown and a necklace, with a more relaxed and friendly expression than previous portraits. This coin is a great example of the diversity and richness of coinage in the Eastern Caribbean States.
