Comment
This coin was released as part of the RAM 2016 Mint and Proof Sets and commemorates the Changeover 50 years ago to decimal currency in Australia. It is the very first Australian 10 cent Commemorative coin. It is unusual in that the Obverse of the coin has a miniature Ian Rank-Broadly Queens Head and a representation of an Australian Three Pence coin as issued between 1953 to 1964. The Reverse of the coin is the same as a standard definitive 10 cent coin with the Stuart Devlin design as first issued in 1966. This coin has been released as a circulation coin in 2016 alongside the standard definitive version with the regular obverse.
This was the BU Mint Set.
