Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 10 Cents - Elizabeth II (3rd portrait; plated) 1999-2003 coin from Canada is that it was the first coin to feature a new portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which was designed by Canadian artist Susanna Blunt. This portrait was introduced in 1999 and was used on all Canadian coins until 2003, when it was replaced by a new design. The coin's unique plated finish also sets it apart from other coins in the series.
