It will be noticed that the bust does not exceed the circle when the face value is written in figures.The tests of 10 centimes seems to have only the writing in figure, moreover, it does not show any sign of variation of diameter contrary to the 5 centimes.
Interesting fact
This coin was designed by French engraver and medalist, Jean-Jacques Barre, and features a unique pattern that was not ultimately adopted for circulation. Instead, a different design by Barre was chosen for the regular issue 10 centimes coin. As a result, this pattern coin is relatively rare and highly sought after by collectors, making it a valuable and interesting addition to any numismatic collection.
