In 1903, coins were minted for both this type and KM# 49. They can be distinguished by the size of the digits in the date. This is the "large date" type, and the hole inside the '0' will be longer and more perfectly oval compared to the more squared-off shape in KM# 49.Schön catalog does not separate them and Schön# 12 consists of both KM# 49 and KM# 53.
