Comment
This coin page was split in 3, cause of variations are enough to consider them as different coins:KM# 153.1 weighs 2.5 g, and KM# 153.2 and .3 are 2.3g only; on the 1st weight is showing in the coin, but not on the others, also KM# 153.3 has 9 stars on obverse instead of 11, and the motto changed from "LA UNION HACE LA FUERA" to " LA UNION ES LA FUERZA"; assayer's initial and mintmark switched positions.
Interesting fact
The 10 Centavos coin from Bolivia, minted between 1870 and 1871, features the motto "LA UNION HACE LA FUERZA" (Unity Makes Strength) on its obverse side. This coin was made of silver with a purity of .900 and weighs 2.5 grams. It's an interesting fact that the coin's design was inspired by the country's desire to showcase its unity and strength after gaining independence from Spain in 1825.
