Comment
Confirmation is needed on this type's date. While Krause lists this as being from 1910, the legend specifies the "Republic of China", meaning it had to have been struck after 1912. Depending on the auction house, these tend to be listed as being from circa 1912, circa 1915-1920, or from an unspecified date. With that in mind, there is an equivalent 20 Cash pieces constantly listed as being from 1931 (both in Krause and by auction houses), so it is very possible these two types were both struck on that date.
Interesting fact
The 10 Cash coin from Sinkiang Province made of Copper in 1931 is interesting because it was minted during a time of great change in China. The coin was issued during the Republican period, which saw the fall of the Qing dynasty and the establishment of the Republic of China. Additionally, 1931 was a year of significant political upheaval, with the Japanese invasion of Manchuria and the subsequent creation of the puppet state of Manchukuo. Despite these challenges, the 10 Cash coin remained a widely used denomination in circulation, reflecting the resilience of the Chinese people during a time of great turmoil.
