Interesting fact
The Guangxu ("SHANTUNG") ND (1904-1905) coin from Shantung Province was one of the first coins to feature the portrait of Guangxu Emperor, who was the only emperor of the Qing dynasty to issue coins with his own portrait. This coin was minted during a time of great change and upheaval in China, as the Qing dynasty was struggling to maintain its power and influence in the face of growing foreign influence and internal strife. Despite its historical significance, the coin is relatively rare and highly sought after by collectors today.
