While these coins say Guangxu on them, these were actually made from previously unused dies, struck at various times between 1911 and 1949 with a progressively reduced silver content. All listed dates and silver contents are approximations.Interesting fact
The Pattern 10 Cash coin was minted during the reign of Emperor Guangxu (1875-1908) of the Qing dynasty, but it was not widely circulated until the 1911-1915 period, when Yunnan Province began to issue its own restrikes of the coin.
