Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features an image of Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said, the former ruler of Oman, on one side, and the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) emblem on the other side. This coin was issued in 1975 to commemorate Oman's membership in the FAO.
