Interesting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features a helmeted head of Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, war, and crafts. The helmet is decorated with a large crest, and Athena's face is depicted in a rather naturalistic style, with a strong jawline and a serious expression. This depiction of Athena is quite different from the more idealized representations of her that are commonly found on coins from other ancient Greek cities. It's a unique and interesting feature of this particular coin!
