Date of issue: 02 MAR 2005During the Victory Parade, which took place on June 24,1945 in Moscow on the Red Square, the march of combined regiments of fronts was completed by a soldiers file carried 200 put down banners of the battered German-fascist troops. These banners were cast down at the foot of the V.I. Lenin Mausoleum.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet Union in World War II, also known as the Great Patriotic War.
