The world-wide known icon "The Trinity" (XVth century) was painted for the Trinity Cathedral of the Holy Trinity-Saint Sergius Lavra. Today the icon is stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow.

Interesting fact

The 10,000 Roubles (The Trinity) 2007 gold coin from Russia features an unique design, showcasing three saints - St. Vladimir, St. George, and St. Nicholas - on one side, while the reverse side depicts the coat of arms of the Russian Federation.
