Comment

According the Gospel of Mark, Jesus was teached in a house in Capernaum, in Galilee. Some men arrived at the house with a paralytic on a cot but, not allowing to reach Jesus because of the crowd throng, they decided to let him pass through the roof of the house.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design that represents the paralytic healing of a man who was lowered through the roof of a house to be healed by Jesus, as described in the Bible. The design shows Pope John Paul II performing a similar healing gesture, symbolizing the continuation of Jesus' work through the Catholic Church.
