Comment
One important thing to note is that, while the proper spelling would have been 'Cheh-kiang' (as seen on pieces struck at Hangchow), the spelling on these patterns is 'Che-kiang'.Only one example is known.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Pattern 1 Yuan - Guangxu (Pattern; silver-plated copper) ND (1902) from Chekiang Province (Chinese provinces) made of Silver plated copper is that it was minted during a time of great change and turmoil in China. The Guangxu Emperor ruled from 1875 to 1908, a period marked by the fall of the Qing dynasty and the establishment of the Republic of China. This coin, minted in 1902, reflects the political and economic shifts that were taking place in China during that time.
