Comment

The Long March (October 1934 – October 1935) was a military retreat undertaken by the Red Army of the Communist Party of China to evade the pursuit of the Kuomintang army. There was not one Long March, but a series of marches, as various Communist armies in the south escaped to the north and west.

Interesting fact

The Communist Party - Zunyi coin was issued in 1991 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. It features an image of the Zunyi Conference, which was a pivotal meeting during the Chinese Civil War that took place in 1936. The coin's design also includes the inscription "Communist Party of China" in Chinese characters, as well as the year of issue, 1991.
