Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Pattern 1 Yuan / 1 Dollar - Xuantong (Pattern; with Giorgi) 3 (1911) from Empire of China made of Silver weighing 26.90g is that it was designed by the Italian engraver and artist, Giuseppe Giorgi. The coin features a portrait of the Chinese emperor, Pu Yi, on one side and an image of a dragon on the other. The coin was minted in 1911, during a time of political upheaval in China, and was intended to be used as a standardized currency for the country. However, due to the political instability and the fall of the Qing dynasty, the coin was never widely circulated and is now considered a rare and valuable collector's item.
