Interesting fact

The 1 Xerafim coin from Portuguese India, minted in 1740 during the reign of King João V, was made of silver and weighed 11.3 grams. Despite its relatively small size, this coin was an important part of the currency system in Portuguese India at the time, and its design featured an image of the king on one side and the coat of arms of Portugal on the other. Today, this coin is a rare and valuable collector's item, highly sought after by numismatists and historians interested in the history of Portuguese colonialism.
