Comment

Many people say that this coin is issued by “Nung Rebellion”. However , after my observation, I found that this coin always be found in China, not in Vietnam. For example, Alan Buker wrote his book, whose name is  The Historical Cash Coins of Vietnam, when he lived in Singapore. His book can reflect the market situation in Vietnam. He cannot collect these coins as much as other Vietnamese coins, He can only lend some photos from another old book, Whose name is 安南泉谱, writing by a Japanese collector.

Interesting fact

The Nông Văn Vân Rebellion, which took place during the reign of Emperor Nguyễn Long ND (1823-1833), was a dynastic rebellion that aimed to overthrow the ruling Nguyễn dynasty in Vietnam. The rebellion was led by a group of peasants and minor officials who were dissatisfied with the corrupt and oppressive rule of the Nguyễn dynasty. Despite being outnumbered and outgunned, the rebels were able to gain control of several provinces in northern Vietnam before being eventually defeated by the government forces. The coin , the 1 Văn - Nguyễn Long ND (1823-1833) from Nông Văn Vân Rebellion, is a rare and valuable coin that serves as a reminder of this important event in Vietnamese history.
