This coin has been minted from 1686(Regimento September, 9th, 1686) to ~1800, by various kings.Since there is no lettering it is almost impossible to know to which king it belongs. So far, the best theory is that of Francisco António Costa Magro (Sintra Institute) dividing them into 7 groups (J5 36 to J5 41).
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1 Vintém coin from Portugal is that it was minted during the reign of King João V (1734-1750) and features an image of the king on one side, while the other side bears the coat of arms of Portugal.
