Comment

Many of these Thalers are often found with countermark of crowned imperial eagle in circular punch indicating coin was struck at 1 Thaler - 64 Kreuzer, rather than the standard of 68 Kreuzer to the Thaler.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1 Thaler - Ulrich 1537 coin from the Duchy of Württemberg is that it features an image of a wild man, known as the "Wildmann," on its reverse side. The Wildmann is a mythical creature that is said to roam the forests of Germany and is often depicted as a hairy, bearded man with horns and a tail. The inclusion of this image on the coin may have been meant to symbolize the duchy's connection to the natural world and its rich resources.
