Novi Vižlin, or Rector's Tallero was minted from 1751 to 1779, it's weight was 28.245 g and was 40 to 43 mm in diameter.

Reverse and obverse have different Mint letters representing the initials of seal makers.

Variations exist with small changes in bust and crown as well in the Coat of Arms details. Lettering variations: RECTO/RECTOR, REIP/REI/REIPV, RHACUSI/RHACVSIN/, DUCAT/DUCA/D∀CAT, RHAC/RHAG/RAC/RACV.

Interesting fact

The 1 Thaler coin from the Republic of Ragusa (Croatian States) was used as a trade coin in the Mediterranean region during its time, and its design was influenced by the Austrian Thaler, which was a popular trade coin in Europe at the time.
