Interesting fact
The obverse side of the coin features a portrait of Maximilian I, the ruler of Bavaria at the time, wearing a elaborate dress and a fur-trimmed cloak, with a crown on his head and a scepter in his hand. The reverse side of the coin depicts the coat of arms of Bavaria, which includes a shield with the symbol of the Holy Roman Empire, a double-headed eagle, and two lions flanking the shield. The coin's design was created by the artist Johann Reichle, who was a prominent engraver and medalist of the time.
