Interesting fact

The 1 Thaler coin from Joachim Frederick of Brandenburg's reign in the Duchy of Jägerndorf (Silesia) in 1606 was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to feature a portrait of the ruler on one side and an image of a hunting scene on the other. This unique design was a departure from the traditional coat of arms or religious symbols found on coins at the time, and it signaled a shift towards more secular and personalized coinage designs in the future.
