Interesting fact
The 1 Thaler coin from the Duchy of Mecklenburg-Güstrow, issued in 1680 during the reign of Gustav Adolph, features an interesting error on its reverse side. The coin was minted with a mistake in the Latin inscription, which was meant to read "Gustavus Adolphus D.G. Dux Mecklenburgicus" (Gustav Adolph, by the grace of God, Duke of Mecklenburg). However, the mint engraver accidentally misspelled the word "Dux" (Duke) as "Ducs," making the coin a rare and unique collector's item.
