Interesting fact
The 1 Thaler coin from the Swedish dominion of Pomerania, minted during the reign of Christina (1640-1641), was made of silver and features a unique design. On one side, it depicts Christina in a royal dress, surrounded by the inscription "CHRISTINA DEI GRATIA SUECIAE REGINA" (Christina, by the grace of God, Queen of Sweden). On the other side, it shows the coat of arms of Pomerania, with the inscription "POMERANIA SVECIAE PROVINCIA" (Pomerania, a province of Sweden). This coin is a rare and valuable collector's item, with only a few known examples remaining in existence.
