Interesting fact

The 1 Thaler coin from Hungary, minted during the reign of Charles III (1712-1715), was made of silver and was used as a standard circulation coin in the country. What's interesting about this coin is that it features a unique design element - a small hole in the center of the coin. This hole was intentionally drilled into the coin to signify that it had been tested for its silver content, ensuring its authenticity and value. This feature is not commonly found in other coins from the same period, making it a distinctive characteristic of the 1 Thaler coin from Hungary.
