Interesting fact

The 1 Thaler 1612 coin from the County of Stolberg (German States) made of Silver features an image of Count Ludwig III, who ruled the county from 1567 to 1615. The coin's design also includes the Stolberg family crest, which features a pair of lions flanking a shield with the family's coat of arms. This crest can be seen on the reverse side of the coin, surrounding the inscription "LUDWIG III GRAF ZU STOLBERG" (Ludwig III, Count of Stolberg). This coin is a rare and valuable collector's item, with only a few known examples remaining in existence.
