Comment
This type is said to have been struck by the 8th Dalai Lama in the year 1785 for the 50th Anniversary of the Chinese Emperor.Confirmation is needed on the difference between C#10.2 and C#10.4, if there is a difference at all (within Krause, C#10.2 has a double circle on the reverse and C#10.4 has a double circle on the obverse; however, the obverse/reverse descriptions for other Sri Mangalam Tangkas are mixed up, so these could very well be the same type).
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Standard circulation coin 1 Tangka ("Sri Mangalam Tangka"; without curves; double circle) ND (1785) from Tibet (China) made of Silver weighing 5.33 g is that it features a unique double circle design on its reverse side, which is not commonly seen in other coins from the same era or region.
