Interesting fact

The 1 Taka (FAO) 1975-1977 coin from Bangladesh was designed by renowned artist and sculptor, Mr. Manindra Chandra Ghosh. The coin features the national emblem of Bangladesh on one side and the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) emblem on the other side. Mr. Ghosh's design was chosen among many entries in a national competition organized by the Bangladesh Bank. This coin was circulated to commemorate Bangladesh's membership in the FAO and to promote agriculture and food security in the country.
