Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1880 Stella gold coin is that it was designed by Charles E. Barber, who was the Chief Engraver of the United States Mint at the time. Barber's design features a depiction of Lady Liberty on the obverse (front) side of the coin, and an eagle on the reverse (back) side. The coin was minted in extremely low quantities, with only 15 examples produced, making it one of the rarest and most valuable coins in the world.
