Interesting fact
The 1 Speciedaler coin from Denmark, issued during the reign of King Frederik III in 1668-1669, features an error in the inscription on the reverse side. The Latin phrase "Fides et Justitia" (Faith and Justice) is misspelled as "Fides et Justiciae" (Faith and Justice-ias). This error was likely caused by a mistake in the engraving process and was not corrected before the coins were minted and circulated. Despite this error, the coin remains a valuable and sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
