The Tacna Parabolic Arch is an 18 meter high monument that was erected to honor the heroes of the Pacific War. It was inaugurated on August 28, 1959. It is built entirely of pinkish ashlar. In its lower part there are two large bronze statues of 3 meters high representing Admiral Miguel Grau and Colonel Francisco Bolognesi.Interesting fact
