Interesting fact
The 1 Skilling Dansk coin from Denmark, issued during the reign of Frederik IV (1711-1719), was made of Billon, a metal alloy consisting of 0.156 silver and 0.844 copper. Despite being made of a relatively low-value metal, the coin still had a significant value in its time, with 1 Skilling being equivalent to 1/8 of a Danish rigsdaler, which was the standard unit of currency in Denmark at the time.
