Issued as a Presentation Medallic Rupee, this issue commemorates the coronation of King Sadul Singh, King of Bikanir, who reigned from 1943 to 1949 and was succeeded by his sun Karni Singh.  

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the coronation of Sadul Singh, the Maharaja of Bikaner, in 1943. Despite being minted in 1943, the coin was not released into circulation until 1999, 56 years later.
