Interesting fact
The Zodiac Rupee - Gemini, which features a depiction of the Gemini twins on one side and an inscription of the Mughal emperor Jahangir on the other, was part of a series of coins issued by the Mughal Empire during Jahangir's reign (1608-1627) that featured the 12 zodiac signs. This series was unique in that it was the first time that the Mughal Empire had issued coins with zodiac signs, and it was also the first time that a Mughal emperor's name was inscribed on a coin in the Persian language.
