One interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued during the reign of Ghiyath al-Din Bahadur, who was the last Sultan of the Sultanate of Bengal and was known for his efforts to consolidate the Sultanate's power and territory. Despite his efforts, the Sultanate ultimately fell to the Mughal Empire in 1576.
