Special Note:
Potentially a “Nazarana Rupee,” but according to Jan Lingen, it is more of a "…Commemorative Rupee which was struck on the accession of Madan Singh and the 60th anniversary of [Queen] Victoria (counted from 1840). From another specimen from Stephen Album’s [Price] List 147, lot 115, we [(Lingen / Album)] worked out that the date should be 1900/Ry. 60."
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique regal style design, with an image of Empress Victoria on one side and Madan Singh on the other, making it a distinctive and rare coin among Indian princely state coins.
