Interesting fact
The 1 Royalin coin from Danish India, issued during the reign of Frederik V (1756-1766), was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to feature a portrait of a European monarch on one side and a Native American on the other. This unique design was a result of the Danish East India Company's influence in India and their efforts to promote trade and cultural exchange between the two regions.
