Date of issue: 07 JUL 1992Yanka Kupala (Ivan Dominikovich Lutsevich, 1882-1942) – National Poet of Byelorussia (1925) and a member of the Byelorussian Academy of Sciences (1928). His created collected poetries ("The Psaltery Player" and "Along the Road of Life"), poems ("The Dream on the Burial Mound" and "The Lion's Grave") and plays ("Paulinka" and "A Ravaged Nest") are relied on classical Russian literature and national traditions.
