Comment
This coin has been struck on a 1 riksdaler coin but with one and a half thickness. It has traditionally been considered to be in memory of the 1726/27 parliamentary year, but it may also have been in memory of the travel abroad the king was planning in 1727, later postponed until 1731.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1½ Riksdaler coin from Sweden is that it was minted during the reign of King Frederick I and Queen Ulrika Eleonora in 1727, and it features both of their portraits on opposite sides of the coin. This was a unique design choice for the time period, as most coins only featured the portrait of the ruling monarch. The coin's silver content and weight also make it a valuable and collectible item among numismatists.
